6.5 Checking input

If the program is running, but the input signal is not read normally, check the following
points:
Does LED on input module
turn ON/OFF by turning ON/
OFF external equipment?
Does actual I/O module
implementation coincide with
hardware configuration
registered on the
engineering tool?
Register right module
implementation to the
engineering tool.
Does allocation error occur in
a specific module?
Does allocation error occur in
all I/O modules on expansion
unit?
Does allocation error also
occur in all I/O modules on
the basic unit?

For LED error, check input voltage during
ON/OFF, loose screws of input terminal
block, displaced input connector, and bad
soldering.
Functionally normal, but erroneous inputs
may be caused due to noise.
Check installation of this module.
Failure of the input module can also be
considered.
Check connection of the expansion cable.
Failure of the expansion cable, expansion
interface or expansion base unit can also
be considered.
The CPU module or main base unit is
defective.
