Serial I/O Expansion Module (IF735)
A serial I/O expansion module is used to expand the intelligent PI/O system for three
additional lines. This module has serial bus connectors on the front panel.
Figure 1-12 shows the front panel of serial I/O expansion module (IF735).
Status LED
(ACK1/ACK2/ACK3)
Serial bus connector
SB1: Channel 1
SB2: Channel 2
SB3: Channel 3

Three connectors are provided. SB1 through SB3 correspond respectively to buses 2
through 4.
(1) Status LED
Indicates the access status of serial bus.
Name of LED
ACK1 ON: Channel 1 [SB1] is being accessed.
ACK2 ON: Channel 2 [SB2] is being accessed.
ACK3 ON: Channel 3 [SB3] is being accessed.
