COOKING GUIDELINES

Cooking tips
We recommend that you cook fish and seafood on the grill in
the open position. The top cooking plate is heavy and may
crush delicate food when closed.
For best results, allow all meat and poultry to reach room
temperature before cooking.
All meats benefit from a period of resting before serving. About
5 minutes on a warm plate is sufficient.
Do not add salt to foods before grilling, this draws out the
moisture and can dry out your food. Season with black pepper
instead and add salt when your food is cooked.
We recommend that you lightly oil your food before grilling. Low
calorie oil spray can be used instead of regular oil.
When cooking foods of different thickness, you may like to move
the items around the grill to cook evenly.
When cooking food with a high fat content (e.g. chicken with the
skin on) make sure you empty the drip tray regularly.

Note: The cooking time for steak will depend on the thickness of the
meat and your taste requirements.
