Input channel areas of the control surface

The control surface has a total of 16 input fast strips, so that 16 input channels can be
at the control surface at any one time. The input fast strips are divided between the
12-channel input bay (left) and the 4-channel input bay (right). The main areas of the
control surface concerned with the input channels, such as the channel strips and
navigational sections, are shown in the following diagram.
