Probable Cause
More than 18 hours passed
since last flow sensor calibra-
tion.
Cable has been removed and
reconnected.
Sensor cable is disconnected.
Flow sensor has not been
properly calibrated.
Sensor faulty.
Inadequate fresh-gas supply in
all ventilation modes.
Blocked/kinked hose.
Breathing circuit disconnected
or leakage.
Inspiratory O concentration

exceeds the upper alarm limit.
Inspiratory O concentration is

below lower alarm limit.
Plateau pressure is more than
3 cmH O (hPa) below the
