Only use non-toxic solvents, as permitted by local regulations. Cleaning should only
be performed in well-ventilated areas and solvents disposed of in accordance with lo-
cal regulations.
Steps
1.
Clean the camera casing using Meliseptol disinfectant wipes, taking care not to wipe de-
bris from the casing onto the illuminator filters and lenses.
2.
Use a photographic lens duster to remove dust from each illuminator filter and lens, dust-
ing the surface gently in one direction only.
3.
Gently wipe the surface of each illuminator filter and lens with Meliseptol disinfectant
wipes.
4.
Clean the illuminator filters and lenses using a commercial lens cleaning solution for
multi-coated lenses (e.g. AR66) and a clean microfiber optical cleaning cloth (e.g. Hite-
cloth).
To prevent surface damage, avoid prolonged contact between the disinfectant wipes
and the camera surface.
The illuminator filters and lenses should be inspected regularly to ensure that they are
sufficiently clean. They should then only be cleaned if necessary.
Do not use paper products to clean the camera. These may scratch and damage the
illuminator filters.
