Development PC with PCMCIA Card Adapter

The development PC must have:
Hard Disk:Minimum of 100MB hard drive space free
Operating System(s):Windows 95 or Windows 98
PeripheralsPC Card Adapter.
Development PC versus Production Terminal
Remember that the PDT 7200 terminal — even configured with 16 MB RAM and 4 MB flash
— does not have the same capability and memory capacity as the development PC. Please
recognize that applications developed on a high-performance PC may perform differently
on the terminal.

Cradles

The cradle performs three functions:
communication with the host or other devices
battery charging with A/C power
storage.
Symbol offers a single-slot cradle. The cradle contains an RS-232C communication port
and can connect with up to 59 daisy-chained slave cradles. Each cradle is supplied with
(and requires) its own international power supply with IEC connector.
The cradle provides terminal storage, in-terminal battery charging, spare battery pack
charging, and RS-232 communications to a Symbol Series 3000 cradle, PPT 4100 cradle,
host computer, or an external serial device such as a printer.

Battery Packs

Primary power for the PDT 7200 is provided by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery
pack. For information on installing and charging the battery pack, refer to
Setup and
Operation.
