Assembling the high-pressure pump

Removing the pump plate
1. Remove the high-pressure pump from the packaging and place it aside. Do not remove the sealing plugs.
2. Place the pump plate (5) on the high-pressure pump (6).
3. Use a wire brush to remove the old threadlocker from the threads of the 3 hex. head bolts M8 x 25 mm (4).
4. Apply a thin coat of threadlocker (e.g. Loctite 243) to the threads of the hex. head bolts M8 x 25 mm.
5. Fasten the pump plate (5) to the high-pressure pump (6) by means of 3 hex. head bolts (4) and washers. Tight‐
ening torque: 25 Nm.
6. Align the pump drive plate (3) and slide it onto the drive shaft of the high-pressure pump.
7. Screw the hex nut (1) with spring washer (2) onto the drive shaft of the high-pressure pump.
8. Insert a 10 mm round rod into the hole in the pump drive plate.
9. Hold the pump drive plate securely and tighten the hex nut. Tightening torque: 25 Nm.
