Attaching the pump plate
4. Place the two spacer sleeves (2) between the pump drive plate (1) and coupling (3). If the spacers sleeves can‐
not be inserted because there is not enough space between the pump drive plate (1) and coupling (3), move the
pump plate a bit farther away from the rotating frame. The diameters of the shoulders on the spacer sleeves dif‐
fer in size. This means that the spacers sleeves can only be inserted in one direction.
5. Once the spacer sleeves (2) are in place, screw 2 hex. head bolts M10 x 1 x 35 mm (4) with washers into the
pump drive plate (1). Do not tighten the hex. head bolts (4).

Installing the spacer sleeves
6. Check whether the two spring pins on the pump plate are inserted into the holes in the rotating frame. Once the
pump plate is aligned properly, tighten the 4 Torx screws crosswise. Tightening torque: 20 Nm
7. Check whether the two spacer sleeves (2) are still seated properly between the pump drive plate (1) and cou‐
pling (4).
If the spacer sleeves between the pump plate and coupling are not seated properly, an axial load on the high-
pressure pump results. An axial load will damage the high-pressure pump.
8. Tighten the two hex. head bolts M10 x 1 x 35 mm (3). Tightening torque: 40 Nm
