If you turn the steering wheel when moving
the ET1 lever to set "S:TRM" (steering
t r i m ) , t h e s e t v a l u e o f " S : B A L A N C "
(steering balance) for the turning direction
is displayed. (See "Adjusting the neutral
position" on page 15.)
ET1 lever
If the set values are largely different between
the right and the left, use the following
procedure to set the values.
(1) Set "S:TRM" to 0. (See page 15.)
(2) Adjust "S:SUBTRM" so that the model
runs straight with the steering wheel at the
neutral position. (See page 17.)
(3) Adjust the turning radius for right and left at
"S:BALANC."
(4) Adjust the overall rudder angle at "S:TRAVEL."
(See page 16.)
(5) If the model does not run straight, carry out
adjustment at "S:TRM."
Adjusting the ends of movement angle and the
neutral position (S:SUBTRM, Steering sub trim)
The ends of movement angle and the neutral posi-
tion can be adjusted simultaneously. Adjust them
when installing a servo or carrying out test driving.
(See "Setting the trim and sub trim" on page 13.)

Press the down key or the up key to display

"S:SUBTRM."
Press the + key or the - key to change the

value of sub trim.
The value can be set in the range from L80 through
0 to R80.
Press the back (function) key to return to the

normal screen or press the down key or the up
key to select another function menu item.
The setting contents are stored.
To adjust only the neutral position, adjust
"S:TRM" (steering trim). (See page 15.)
If you press the + key and the – key simul-
taneously, the value of sub trim is set to
100%.
If the value of sub trim becomes large,
adjust the linkage so that the sub trim is
near 0. If the value of sub trim is large, a
dead zone (area in which the signals do not
change) where the servo does not move at
the right and left ends of steering depending
on other steering related setting may be
generated.
