Chapter 2 Function Menu Setting

STEERING RELATED SETTING

Displaying the steering amount
(S:MONIT, Steering monitor)
The current steering movement position can be
checked.
Press the down key or the up key to display

"S:MONIT."
Move the steering wheel.

Moves according to
the movement of steer-
ing wheel.
If the direction of steering operation is
reverse, the movement of the steering
wheel is contrary to the monitor display.
Press the back (function) key to return to the

normal screen or press the down key or the up
key to select another function menu item.

Adjusting the neutral position (S:TRM, Steering trim)

To adjust the neutral position during driving,
change this setting. (See "Setting the trim and sub
trim" on page 13.)
The ends of movement angle do not move.
Only the neutral position will move.
To move also the ends of movement angle,
adjust "S:SUBTRM" (steering sub trim). (See
page 17.)
Press the down key or the up key to display

"S:TRM."
Press the + key or the – key to change the

value of trim.
The value can be set in the range from L50 through
0 to R50.
If you press the + key and the - key
simultaneously, the value of trim is set to 0.
Press the back (function) key to return to the

normal screen or press the down key or the up
key to select another function menu item.
The setting contents are stored.
In the initial state, the ET1 lever can also be
used to set "S:TRM" (steering trim). Move
the lever to the right or the left to change
the set value.
Even if you press the + key and the - key
simultaneously, however, the value of trim is
not set to 0.
