Description
Activate this checkbox to switch on the interface simulation. When the
simulation is activated, the display boxes for "Status CTS Flow
Control", "TX Buffer Full" and "RX Buffer Full" switch to checkboxes
for the respective simulation value. In addition, an input box for the
input data to be simulated appears on the Input buffer, serial interface
page.
Default setting: deactivated
Select this checkbox to define the output data independent of the control
unit. When manual operation is activated, the display box for "Status
RTS Flow Control" is switched to a checkbox for the manual operation
value. In addition, an input box for the output data to be sent appears on
the Output buffer, serial interface page.
Default setting: deactivated
Enter a designation for the connection. Up to 40 characters can be
entered.
In this box, select the operating mode. You can select the following
settings. **
- RS-232
- RS-422/-485 half-duplex*
- RS-422/-485 full-duplex
In this box, select the baud rate. You have the following options:
- 300
- 1200
- 2400
- 4800
- 9600*
- 19200
- 38400
- 57600
- 115200
In this box, select the number of data bits. You have the following
options***:
- 7 data bits
- 8 data bits*
In this box, select the parity setting. You have the following
options****:
- none*
- even
- odd
In this box, select the number of stop bits. You have the following
options:
- 1 Stop bit*
- 2 Stop bits
