Controller timeout

7.7.1

Actual Value Watchdog

m The actual value watchdog is configured by Modbus register 203
m A value of 0 deactivates the watchdog
m A value not equal 0 corresponds with the watchdog time in ms
m The watchdog can be configured in state Pre-Operational only
m The watchdog timer is restarted with the configured value in ms with every reading of
m After the watchdog timer expires, bit 1 of the status word is set to 1.
m The error bit can be reseted via control word bit 1

Set Value Watchdog

m The set value watchdog is configured by Modbus register 204
m A value of 0 deactivates the watchdog
m A value not equal 0 corresponds with the watchdog time in ms
m The watchdog can be configured in state Pre-Operational only
m The watchdog timer is restarted with the configured value in ms with every writing of
m After the watchdog timer expires, bit 2 of the status word is set to 1.
m The error bit can be reseted via control word bit 2
7.8 Controller timeout
The controller checks internally whether the mapped parameters still read or written cy-
clically from/to the Modbus registers. The corresponding error bit is set in the status word
if the controller recognizes that the parameters are not read or written.
Status word bit 3: Actual values from the controller are not read from the Modbus register
Status word bit 4: Set values from the controller are not written to the Modbus register
The error bits can be reseted by the corresponding bits in the control word.
Control word bit 3: Resets actual value errors
Control word bit 4: Resets set value errors
7.9

General errors

Status word bit 5 is set to 1 in case an error occurs that is not displayed by another
register. The corresponding b maXX error code can be read via Modbus register 200 -
201.
Bit 5 in status word can be reseted by bit 5 in control word.
