Configure IP address

The IP address either can be configured via ProDrive permanently or defined via the field-
bus by DHCP or BOOTP.
Static IP addresses can be assigned via the ProDrive only.
Via the fieldbus statical IP addresses as well as DHCP or BOOTP addresses can be as-
signed.
If the address is accepted by ProDrive or is configured via the fieldbus depends of the
host IP address which was configured in ProDrive.
If host IP unequal 0
If host IP equals 0
Description of Host-IP:
Host-IP = A combination of network mask and IP address.
For example network mask = 255.255.0.0; IP address = 192.168.12.56  Host IP =
12.56
NOTE
The IP settings that are in ProDrive are evaluated at startup, only. Therefore all set-
tings here must be saved via ProDrive and the device must be started again.
A valid Gateway address must be assigned in parameter 131.16.
