Status word and Control word

7.4.1

Status word

The system state and the error state can be requested in the status word. The status word
and the actual process data can be transmitted withing the same Modbus function code
because the status word is in Modbus register 0 directly previous to the actual process
data.
Each reading access to the status word restarts the actual value watchdog (see
