11.5 Expansion card - DEVICENET -

This section describes the DeviceNet expansion card for S300. Information on the range of
functions and the software protocol can be found in our manual "DeviceNet Communication
Profile".

11.5.1 Connection technology

Cable selection, cable routing, shielding, bus connector, bus termination and transmission
times are all described in the "DeviceNet Specification, Volume I, II", published by ODVA.
