Fuse
Before replacing the fuse, check the
current ratings of the electrical
accessories and ensure that there are
no abnormalities.
WARNING
• Never use a fuse with a
different rating from that
specified.
Serious damage to the
electrical system or a fire may
result.
• Disconnect the battery cable at
the battery negative (–)
terminal before replacing the
fuse.
Failure to do so may cause a
short circuit.
If the fuse is blown, check the
cause, then replace the fuse with a
spare fuse of the same rated
capacity. Unless the cause is found,
the fuse may blow again.

1. Stop the engine.
2. Disconnect the battery (see page
128).
3. Remove the engine cover (see page
56).
4. Open the junction box cover.

5. Pull the old fuse out of the clip with
the fuse puller supplied in the fuse
box.
6. Push a new fuse into the clips.
