Discrete I/O

Digital Inputs

The digital inputs are used to control the ProBell
Electrostatic Controller from a remote device, such
as a PLC. All digital inputs are sinking inputs. In
order to accept input signals from an external device
through the Discrete I/O interface, the REMOTE
Enable/Disable input must first be activated.

Digital Outputs

The digital outputs provide status signals to other
devices, such as a PLC. The outputs can be
configured to be sinking or sourcing outputs. This
setting applies to all digital outputs simultaneously.
The digital outputs require an external 24 VDC
voltage to be connected to Output External Power
(discrete I/O interface, pin 16).
