NOTE: Ohmmeters will not indicate a change in resistance of the load cell transducer when weights are applied to scale. This
is due to the extremely small change in resistance of the strain gauges employed (<1 ohm) and the fact that the bridge
configuration presents a constant value of resistance when measured from its terminals.

Possible Cause
Remove the rear cover using a Phillip head screwdriver. Replace the "D"
cell batteries.
Check the voltage of the non-rechargeable batteries. The minimum
required voltage for working is 6.6 V.
Check the voltage for 12 volts. Replace if not detected.
Replace the Battery Holder Assembly.
Note Red, Black, and Yellow Wire that was unhooked from the
faceplate pulls out with the Battery Holder & Bracket Assembly.
Check the pins in the cable to make sure the Harness Battery Holder is
properly aligned and connected to the display board.
Remove front panel.
Tighten with a 7/16" Ratchet/Wrench. If they will not tighten, replace
the washer and liner pin.
