5.4.8 Replacing the Lighting or Skylight Controller

Prerequisites


Context
Recommended tools and materials: diagonal pliers, crimping tool, insulation tape, cord end
terminal, Phillips screwdriver (Φ6 mm)
Procedure
Step 1 Disconnect power supply from the skylight controller. Then, remove cables that connect the
skylight controller, label the cables, and record where the labeled cables were connected.
Step 2 Remove the skylight controller that needs to be replaced.
Step 3 Move the new skylight controller cautiously to the front of the network cabinet.
Step 4 Rotate the mounting ears of the new skylight controller to 180 degrees to the place shown in
Figure
Step 5 Place the skylight controller in the network cabinet. Secure the skylight controller in the
network cabinet by tightening the M6 screws on the left and right mounting ears clockwise, as
shown by (3) in

The light controller or skylight controller needs to be replaced.
A spare lighting or skylight controller of the same model is available and functional.
The methods for replacing or installing a light controller or skylight controller are the same. This section
describes only how to replace a skylight controller.
