Context
Recommended tools and materials: diagonal pliers, crimping tool, insulation tape, Phillips
screwdriver, and cord end terminal
Procedure
Step 1 Disconnect power supply from the access controller. Then, remove cables that connect the
access controller, label the cables, and record where the labeled cables were connected.
Step 2 Remove the screws securing the access controller tray and remove the tray, as shown in
Figure

Step 3 Remove the access controller from the tray, as shown in

Spare access controllers of the same model are available and functional.
