Maintenance Guide
Procedure
Step 1 Check whether the air filter is dirty and blocked. If the air filter is dirty or blocked, clean or
replace it. Check whether the fault is rectified after you clean or replace the air filter.
Step 2 Check whether the condensing pressure is abnormal. Check whether the unit pressure
parameter settings are correct and whether there is an alarm related to the condensing
pressure.
Step 3 Check whether the condenser exterior is dirty. Remove any dirt and check whether the fault
persists.
Step 4 Check whether the amount of refrigerant is proper.
Step 5 Check whether cold air returns without passing through devices. Measure the temperatures at
the air intake vent and air discharge vent of the air conditioner.
Step 6 Check the reason why cold air returns without passing through devices.

Step 7 Obtain the error code displayed on the user interface (UI) of the air conditioner, and contact
Huawei technical support.
