Possible Causes
Procedure
Step 1 Check whether the power supply module is normal. Use a multimeter to check whether the
output voltage of the power supply module is 12 V DC (tolerance ± 1 V).
Step 2 Replace the power supply module and check whether the access control system works
properly.
Step 3 Check whether the card reader works properly. Use a spare card reader to check whether the
access control system works properly.
Step 4 Check whether the double door electromagnetic lock is faulty. Use a multimeter to check
whether the power port on the double door electromagnetic lock supplies power properly.
Step 5 Check whether the access controller works properly. Use a spare access controller to check
whether the access control system works properly.

Controller Faults
Symptom
A double-door or four-door access controller fails to control the door properly.
Possible Causes
Issue 01 (2016-10-18)
The power supply to the access control system is faulty.
The card reader is faulty.
The double door electromagnetic lock is faulty.
The access controller is faulty.
If yes, go to
Step
3.
If no, go to
Step
2.
If yes, no further action is required.
If yes, go to
Step

If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to
Step
4.
If yes, replace the electromagnetic lock and no further action is required.
If no, go to
Step
5.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, contact Huawei technical support.
The double-door or four-door access controller is damaged.
Cables to the double-door or four-door access controller are in poor contact.
