5. If your are installing the switch on an industrial panel, skip this step and
go to Step 6.
If you are installing the switch on a masonry or concrete wall, perform
this step as follows:
a. Use a drill and 1/4" carbide drill bit to drill the four holes at the
locations marked in Step 4. Please review the following guidelines:
– Prior to drilling, set the drill to hammer and rotation
mode. The modes break up the concrete and clean
out the hole.
– Allied Telesis recommends cleaning out the holes
with a brush or compressed air.
b. Insert anchors (not provided) into the four holes.
c. Go to Step 6.
6. Hold the switch at the selected location while you secure it with four
screws (not provided). Refer to Figure 20.
