7. Tighten the retaining screws on the power/alarm connector to secure
the wires to a torque value 7 lb-in. Refer to Figure 35.

8. Connect the opposite end of the alarm wires to the external alarm
circuit.
9. Verify that the DC power supply is powered off. If there are two DC
power supplies, verify that both units are powered off.
10. Connect the opposite ends of the "plus" and "minus" power wires from
the power/alarm connector to the first external DC power supply. Refer
to the documentation included with the power supply unit for
instructions.
11. If you have a second external power supply, connect the second pair
of power wires from the power/alarm connector to the second DC
power supply. Refer to the documentation included with the power
supply unit for instructions.
12. Insert the power/alarm connector into the mating connector on the
chassis top panel.
