Function Specific Troubleshooting
Step 12. Use the softkeys to select the SCANNER INTERFACE test.

Step 13. Press the EXECUTE - TEST START softkeys to execute the SCANNER
INTERFACE test.
Step 14. Confirm that LEDs on the scanner simulator board turn ON in accordance
with the E4980A/ E4980AL settings displayed in the LCD.
Step 15. Press the TEST STOP softkey.
Do not execute any SELF TEST except for the Scanner Interface Test or the
E4980A/ E4980AL will become inoperative.
Step 16. Return the switch settings on the scanner interface board to their original
settings.

This test verifies the bias current interface functions.
