Airflow for cooling the fabric modules
To allow for the Cisco Nexus 7009 and 7018 switches to take in air from the cold aisle and floor on the
right side, you should route cables on the left front side of the switch. If necessary, you can route cables
on the upper right front side of the chassis, which leaves the lower right side open to cooling air from
the cold aisle in front of the chassis. By having the cables on the left side and leaving the left rear side
unobstructed, the exhaust is directed to the hot aisle in back.
