MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS

5.1 Adjustment of the Position of the Scanner and 2nd/3rd Mir-
rors Carriage
NOTE
• This adjustment is to be made when the Scanner Drive Cables has been replaced or
rewound.
<Adjustment Procedure>
4. Press the Scanner up against the jigs and tighten the fixing screws.
1. Remove the Original Glass.

2. Fit the Scanner/Mirrors Carriage Positioning Jigs
in position. Then, press the 2nd/3rd Mirrors Car-
riage up against the jigs.

3. Loosen the fixing screws and adjust as neces-
sary so that there is no clearance between the
2nd/3rd Mirrors Carriage and the jigs.
