Before starting the installation, the installer must confirm the following with the pool owner:
An internet connection is available in close enough proximity to be able to connect using an RJ45 cable. If this is not the
case, the installer can supply a pair of power line Ethernet plugs (not supplied), or alternatively a Wi-Fi bridge connection
(not supplied).
The owner's internet box has at least one connection port available; the connection between the PoolCopilot Module and
the central server is via the internet access of the box.
There is sufficient space in close proximity to the PoolCop Power Supply Unit to install the PoolCopilot box.
Before starting the PoolCopilot installation the installer will:
Ensure that the filtration can be stopped for approximately one hour.
Ensure that the PoolCop Firmware is version V26.0 or higher. This can be verified on the PoolCop control interface in the
MENU -> CONFIGURATION -> FACTORY SETTINGS.
