3.5.4.2 ORP Control and Programming
3.5.4.2.1 Information and Guidance
ORP control is available for controlled disinfection. The water condition sensor type varies, depending on the chemical method used
for treatment.
Treatment Option
pH + liquid chlorine injection; chlorine or bromine tablets
pH + salt water system

A pH+ORP sensor is required, correctly installed as per 3.5.2

3.5.4.3 Chemical Dosing, by Injection
Liquid chemicals (such as liquid chlorine or active oxygen) can be dosed as disinfectant or remnant, controlled by PoolCop using
timers on Auxiliary relays 2-6 or by ORP on Auxiliary Relay 6.
3.5.4.3.1 Chemical Injection
3.5.4.3.1.1 Injection Using Timers
Connect the electrical supply to the injection pump via an appropriate PoolCop Auxiliary relay; AUX 6 is recommended.

Configured the appropriate relay as per 5.3:

Ensure that an appropriate daily duration is set, to achieve the correct dosing volume.

Ensure that the auxiliary is slaved.

3.5.4.3.1.2 Injection Using ORP
Connect the electrical supply to the injection pump via PoolCop AUX 6.

In the WATER AND TREATMENT

Ensure that the correct consumable product is used and properly installed.

