The optional Air Temperature sensor measures outside air temperature, displays this on the screen, and the temperature is used for
antifreeze protection if this protection is configured in the Pool Data menu.
Disconnect all electrical power to the pool and systems.
Remove the transparent cover from the PSU, and switch the PoolCop OFF.
Depending on version, remove the faceplate.
Fit the Air Temperature Sensor to J27
Route the sensor and cable via a compression gland to a location where external air temperature is representative of actual
temperature to which the pool surface is exposed. Secure the sensor cable in an appropriate manner.
Keep a minimum distance of 10cm between the air temperature sensor cable and any 220V/380V power
Depending on versions, refit the faceplate and dome nuts.
Switch the PoolCop ON.
Check the PoolCop Main Unit LCD main screen; water and air temperature will alternately display.
Refit the transparent cover to the Power Supply Unit.
