Load
In the Load mode, if the loop option had been selected, an additional stage is required to
determine the bank of data required, see fig 3.4.19.
ENTER 1 FOR 1-64
ENTER 2 FOR 65-128
ENTER 3 FOR 129->
The numbers on the right refer to the outputs available. To restrict the size of the file the package
size is restricted to sixty four outputs. Once the bank is selected download occurs immediately
if no temp file exists. If a temp file exists the option to save it is provided first. As with Send
mode, the load package is displayed on both the panel and the Psion as it is downloaded.

3.4.8 Clear Outputs

'Clear outputs' allows existing programmable data to be cleared to allow new information to be
entered. The clear operation is divided into three sections, Panel, Devices and Loop. When this
option is selected the panel display indicates these three options, see fig 3.4.20.
TUE 15 MAR 21:45 CLEAR OUTPUTS
The required option is selected by operating the number key illustrated next to the section, i.e.
Panel clear is selected by operating key 1. Each section is detailed below.
Panel
If major changes are required to the programmed panel outputs the system can be cleared by this
option. Confirmation is required, i.e. an ARE YOU SURE? message will be displayed and when
accepted the memory will be cleared such that no panel outputs will operate, i.e all control active
status will be set to O and all the clear status will be set to the S mode.
Device
This option clears all the output devices assigned to output numbers. All the clear status will also
be reset back to the S option at the same time. Confirmation is required and the action will be
recorded in the event log.
Clearing the loop output devices does not effect the loop output controls, i.e. the same input
devices will still be assigned to the output number.
