Volt free contacts N/O. Secure output protected against spurious operation on power up etc.
Active on FIRE alarm and Sounds Alarms.
Pre-alarm output:
Active when Pre-alarm condition. Capably of sinking 100mA. Active until panel reset.

1.4.4 Inputs

Loop 1:
Four terminals for the connection of the sensor wiring, i.e. positive and negative out plus return
pair.
Loop 2:
As above, but for sensor loop 2.
240V a.c. and Earth terminal Block:
Connection of 240V a.c. 50 Hz and mains earth.
External alarm:
O volt input-allows control of audible alarms from external source. Active until input removed.
EXT fault:
0 volt input-activates the panel in external fault mode.
EVACUATE: - Not Implemented
Service Access:
DIN-socket on Master Processor control/display PCB for connection of Psion Organiser/IBM
compatible P.C. control of various services functions.

CABLE SPECIFICATIONS
To obtain maximum integrity of the system it is normal practice to loop wire the devices. This
maintains the optimum number of devices in operation under all cable fault condition.
APPROVED CABLES
The following cables are approved and must be used for their designated application.

DETECTION LOOPS
MICC PVC or Pirelli FP 200
Cable size up to 1km- 1.5mm cross sectional area. Cable size up to 2 km = 2.5mm cross
sectional area.
