1. Installation

1.4.4 Connect the power supply of the valve terminal

Festo P.BE−CDVI−DN−EN en 0404NH
Use only a 5−pin M12 socket for the power supply (A−coded;
see appendix: Accessories) and connect this only to the con
nection for the power supply (see also Fig. 1/1).

Please note
Extending the CDVI−DN with a CP valve terminal of the 1st.
generation (without additional supply):
Provide a bridge between pins 3 and 4.

However, there will then no longer be electrical isolation
between the electronics voltage and the load voltage
(valves).
