2.2.5 Parametrizing with RSNetWorx: EDS

This section provides instructions on parametrizing with
RSNetWorx for DeviceNet version 4.01.00 from Rockwell. All
steps listed refer as an example to the Allen−Bradley scanner
1756−SDN. They apply accordingly to other masters.
a) Insert the slave into the project/network
RSNetWorx for DeviceNet contains an EDS assistant which
will support you in installing the EDS file(s). When the EDS
file(s) has been installed, you will find the CDVI in the list
Hardware".
By pulling with the mouse or by clicking the button Bus
scan", you can insert slaves into the network on the right−
hand side.
