A valve location on the CDVI valve terminal always
occupies 2 addresses, even if it is only fitted with a
blanking plate.
An extension to the base block always occupies 8 ad
dresses (irrespective of whether you use one or two
extension blocks).

If a valve location is fitted with a valve, which has 2 pilot
solenoids, the following applies:
pilot solenoid 14 occupies the lower−value address
pilot solenoid 12 occupies the higher−value address.
In the case of valves with only one pilot solenoid the
higher−value address remains unused.
Address assignment on the CDVI valve terminal is there
fore carried out from left to right, but on the individual
valve locations from right (14) to left (12).
