General notes on installation
Festo P.BE−CDVI−DN−EN en 0404NH
Warning
Sudden unexpected movements of the connected actua
tors and uncontrollable movements of loose tubing can
cause injury to human beings and damage to property.
Before carrying out conversion work on the CDVI−DN,

switch off the following:
the compressed air supply
the power supply.
Make sure that the higher−order controller has not sent
·
control signals to the valve solenoid coils.
Please note
The CDVI−DN contains electrostatically sensitive compo
nents.
Do not therefore touch the electrical contacts of the
·
components.
Observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
·
sensitive components.
In this way you will avoid damage to the electronics.
