Removing
1. Switch off all power supplies (electric voltage,
compressed air).
2. Loosen the two fastening screws on the left−hand end
plate by approximately 1 turn.
3. Now unscrew the two fastening screws completely. You
will then avoid tilting annd squeezing the separator plate
(seal).
4. Pull off the left−hand end plate.
Fitting
1. Place the separator plate (seal) on the base block. The
separator plate must sit correctly on the guide sleeves of
the base block.
2. Position also the left−hand end plate.
3. Tighten the two fastening screws in alternate sequence.
Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm (... 4 Nm)
Please note
Make sure that the separator plate (seal) is not
·
squashed on one side as a result of unequal tightening
of the cover screws.
The requirements of the IP protection class cannot be
fulfilled if a seal is squashed.
