Switches and links
The CBMF board holds several switches and links.
These are implemented to allow the circuit board to
be used in several different configurations.
The switch setting on the CBMF board has to be
correct. All the switches on all the CBMF boards in
the Processing Unit should be set to OFF. OFF is when
they are pushed towards the edge of the circuit board.
Do not touch other switches or link settings.
The CBMF board is configured by Kongsberg Maritime for use in the EM 712. If you
receive a spare CBMF board, this is also set up correctly before it is shipped.

CBMF board connectors

The CBMF board holds a large connector for the backplane, as well as several front
mounted connectors.

due to minor design changes on the protective lid and/or the front panel.
The CBMF board is fitted with the following connectors.
