The EM 712 system will interface with peripheral systems and sensors using standard
and/or proprietary datagram formats. This is a description of available datagram formats
for EM multibeams using all format.
• Sound speed at transducer
• Printer/plotter
• Interface for input of sound speed profile (Ethernet or serial line)
• Tide input (Ethernet or serial line)
• Single beam echo sounder depths (Ethernet)
• Output of all data normally logged to disk (to Ethernet)
• Output of depth below keel in NMEA DPT format (serial line)
• Output to autopilot in NMEA APB format (serial line)
