INSTALLATION OF THE INTAKE
SILENCER WITH INTEGRATED
AIRFILTER
Tools required:
• Allen key 4 mm
• Ratchet wrench with socket 7 mm or Phillips
screwdriver
Step Procedure
1 Install the rubber intake pipe (pos. 5)
in a vertical position into the bottom
half (pos. 2) of the intake silencer so
that the rounded intake openings point
outwards.
2 Fit the carburetor socket (pos. 7) into
the inner side half of silencer (pos. 1)
so that the arrow on the socket points
towards the carburetor.

Install the filter element (pos. 3) with
holder (pos. 4).

Assemble filter box and filter insert as
shown in the intake silencer overview
figure. Make sure that the locking is in-
terlocked properly.
5 Attach the intake silencer with the sup-
plied hose clamps (pos. 8) to the
carburetor.
NOTE
The carburetor socket (pos. 7) is slightly tilted in
one direction and can be turned so that the best
possible position between carburetor and intake
silencer can be achieved.

6 Attach the intake silencer on the chas-
sis using the M6 Allen screw with
rounded flange head (pos. 10).
