Access to the automation component fails

Diagnostics
The connection establishment was successful, but access to the remote automation
component fails.
Remedy
1. Check the BUSF LED on the TS Adapter IE. If it is lit, there is no connection to another
2. Check the IP address of the TS Adapter IE and the IP address that was assigned to the

– Then enable the firewall in the "Security > Incoming Calls > General" tab.
In the same tab, allow SIMATIC Protocols as exceptions.
In the "Security > Incoming Calls > SIMATIC Protocols" tab, allow S7 communication.
Test the access to the automation component again.
