Not possible to send e-mail

Diagnostics
An outgoing modem connection is active, but e-mail cannot be sent.
In the "Information > Status" tab of the configuration interface, you can check if an outgoing
connection is active.
Remedy
1. Check the BUSF LED on the TS Adapter IE. If it is lit, there is no connection to another
2. Check the firewall setting.
3. Check the IP address of the TS Adapter IE.

"Information > Status" tab of the configuration interface.
– First disable the firewall in the "Security > Outgoing Calls > General" tab for test
purposes.
NOTICE
When the firewall is disabled, your automation system is vulnerable to attack over the
remote connection!
Test the e-mail function.
– Then enable the firewall in the "Security > Outgoing Calls > General" tab.
In the same tab, enable "IP Masquerading (NAPT)".
In the same tab, allow Internet Protocols as exceptions.
In the "Security > Outgoing Calls > Internet Protocols" tab, allow SMTP.
Test the e-mail function again.
The address must be in the same subnet as the addresses of the remote automation
component, and must not be used by any other component in the network.
