9.6 Mechanical and Climatic Ambient Conditions for Operation of the TS

Operating conditions
The TS Adapter IE is designed for weather-protected, stationary use. The TS Adapter IE
complies with the operational requirements to DIN IEC 60721-3-3:
● Class 3M3 (mechanical requirements)
● Class 3K3 (climatic ambient conditions)
Operation with additional measures
In the following environments the TS Adapter IE must not be operated without additional
measures:
● In locations with high levels of ionizing radiation
● In locations subject to difficult operating conditions, such as dust, aggressive fumes or
● In installations requiring special monitoring, such as elevators and electrical systems in
