HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONING 1A-32
BLO W ER SW ITCH
BLOWER M OTOR RELAY (Fig. 41)
Removal
1. Disconnect wiring harness at relay connector.
2. Remove the relay mounting screws and remove
relay.
Installation
1. Place relay in position and drive mounting screws.
2. Connect wiring harness to relay.

ANTI-DIESELING RELAY

This relay is mounted to the instrument panel, just to
the right of the air conditioning control. Its purpose is
to actuate the compressor clutch when the ignition switch
is turned off. This relay does not override the ambient
switch; therefore, when the temperature at the ambient
switch is below 37°F, the relay will not energize the
compressor.
Replacement (Fig. 41)
1. Disconnect the electrical connector at the relay.
2. Remove the relay to instrument panel attaching
screw and remove the relay.
3. Place the new relay in position (tang in bole in
instrument panel) and install the mounting screw.
4. Connect the wiring harness.

1. Disconnect wiring harness at compressor clutch
2. Remove two mounting screws and remove switch.
Installation
1. Place switch in position and drive the two mounting
