3. After adjustment is made, rotate the throttle lever
to fully closed and partly open again. Any move­
ment of the throttle lever should be noticed at oper­
ating lever spring end, indicating correct pump
tip- in.
FAST IDLE C A M ADJUSTMENT
(Fig. H 6)(M ECH AN ICAL)
1. Open throttle slightly, close choke plate positioning
fast idle lever against top stfep of fast idle cam.
2. Adjust fast idle to give specified opening of throttle

plates on idle transfer slot side of carb (see specifi­
cations). Bend fast idle lever to adjust.
SECONDARY THROTTLE VALVE STOP
SCREW ADJUSTMENT (Fig. H7)
1. Back off on adjustment screw until throttle plates
are fully closed.
2. Turn adjustment screw until it just touches the
throttle lever and turn one-half turn more to posi­
tion the valves in the throttle bore to specified
opening.
WET FUEL LEVEL ADJUSTMENT (Fig. H8)
1. Remove air cleaner then remove the fuel level sight
plugs (Fig. H8).
