From the back of the shelf, you can view the E2800 controller, the power and fan canisters in
the appliance, the battery in the E2800 controller, and component temperatures.
SANtricity System Manager does not show information about the E5700SG

c. To see the settings for the E2800 controller, select Controller A and select View settings
from the context menu.
d. To see the setting for other components in the back of the shelf, select the component you
want to view.
e. Click Show front of shelf, and select the component you want to view.
From the front of the shelf, you can view the drives and the five drive drawers for the SG5760.
If the status of any component is Needs Attention, follow the steps in the Recovery Guru to
resolve the issue or contact technical support.
Optional: Changing the RAID mode (SG5760 only)
If you have an SG5760 with 60 drives, you can change to a different RAID mode to accommodate
your storage and recovery requirements. You can only change the mode before deploying the
StorageGRID appliance Storage Node.
Before you begin

You have an SG5760. If you have an SG5712, you must use DDP mode.
•
You are using any client that can connect to StorageGRID.
•
The client has a supported web browser.
