● Using a shelf

 Install the shelf, supplied by the rack manufacturer, in the rack.

 Mount the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 on the shelf.

 Fasten the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 to the rack with screws through the

eight holes in the front mounting brackets of RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000.

To install the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 in a 23"rack:

1 Mounting the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 on a 23" rack requires that first the

handles and then the 19" brackets be removed from the MCU, as shown in the figure below.

2 After removal, attach the 23" brackets as provided in the Rack Installation Accessories kit, and

re-install the handles to the 23" brackets, as shown in the figure below.

3 Mount the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 on top of the rack brackets using the

blades or place it on a rack mount shelf with chassis runners.

4 Fasten the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 to the rack with eight screws into the

holes provided on the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 4000 front as shown in figure

above.

Rack mounting screws must be supplied by the rack manufacturer.
