Inserting the letter guide at the ramp (PostBase Vision Feeder)

In case the letter guide slips completely out of the ramp when pulling it out, you can
re-insert it as described below.
Groove
Latching hook
• Hold the letter guide as shown in the figure.
Lugs
• Fit the groove of the letter guide in the lugs
on both sides.
Lightly bend the front of the letter guide panel
down at the sides. This eases the process of
inserting in the guides.
• Hold the letter guide straight and slide in
the direction of the arrow, against the resis-
tance (from the latching hook).
As soon as the latching hook snaps into its
guide groove, the letter guide has been
inserted correctly.
• Push the letter guide to the desired position
or
fold it down to process large letters.
