17. Remove four bolts (21) and washers that hold
bearing cover (22) on the crankcase.
NOTE : For the purpose of reassembly, put Loctite
No.572 on bolt thread and tighten bolts (21) to a
torque of 17 � � 21 N � � m (150 � � 186 lb � � ft).
18. Remove four bolts (23), washers and end cover
(24) from the crankcase.
19. Remove gasket and discard it.

20. From rear of crankcase tap crankshaft from
crankcase (33).
21. Remove the crankshaft assembly and bearing
cover (25) as a unit.
